National Feed Production Situation in March 2023

According to sample enterprise data, in March 2023, the national industrial feed production was 25.11 million tons, an increase of 10.4% month on month and 5.5% year on year. The factory prices of main formula feed, concentrated feed, and additive premixed feed products have mainly decreased month on month. The proportion of corn used in the formula feed produced by feed enterprises was 38.1%, a year-on-year increase of 1.3 percentage points; The proportion of soybean meal used in formula feed and concentrated feed was 12.5%, a year-on-year decrease of 1.6 percentage points.
