SHANDONG YENHO BIOTECH CO., LTD (YENHO BIOTECH, registered brand of YENHOBIO) was founded in September 2017 and is located at 77 Shenzhen Road West, Rizhao City, Shandong Province, P.R. China. It is a joint-stock high-tech enterprise established by the YOTA BIO-ENGINEERING CO., LTD (YOTABIO) and the expert team of China Pharmaceutical University.

The company has a registered capital of RMB 50 million Yuan, with a planned area of 127 acres, and a total budget investment of RMB 250 million Yuan. The first phase of the project covers an area of 72 acres, with a construction area of over 34000 square meters. After several years of construction, a complete production line for biological fermentation products has been established, with more than 500 sets of main production equipment. The first product is the animal nutrient L-tryptophan, which has obtained a production license and was officially put into production in the first quarter of 2023.

YENHO BIOTECH is the first cooperation project between the China Pharmaceutical University and the "Demonstration Base for the Government, Industry, University and Research Cooperation" in the Rizhao Economic and Technical Development Area (RETDA) of City. It is a key strategic emerging enterprise in the "Biopharma Technology Industrial Park" of the RETDA and has received key support from relevant departments of the RETDA and the municipal government. The Phase I project of YENHO BIOTECH has been listed as one of the 100 key projects and top ten industrial projects in the Rizhao City, and has been selected as the "2020 Key Project for the Transformation of New and Old Energy in Shandong Province".

YENHO BIOTECH is a holding subsidiary of YOTABIO, and YOTABIO is a "Gazelle" enterprise in Rizhao City, a "Specialized, Refined, and Innovative" enterprise in Shandong Province, and a National High-tech enterprise. It is a biotech oriented high growth and small giant enterprise that is key to provincial and municipal cultivation. YOTABIO mainly engages in biological food additive products, and currently its main products include nisin, natamycin, ε- polylysine and ε- polylysine HCl, and transglutaminase (TG), covering dozens of specifications and models, are mainly used for the preservation and processing of various foods. YOTABIO is one of the few global suppliers with the production capacity of a full range of biological food preservative products. After years of continuous market development and promotion, YOTABIO brand has become the first choice brand for domestic biological food preservative products, and YOTA BIO-ENGINEERING has also become one of the mainstream manufacturers of biological food additives in China.
